Dear Customers,

We are getting in touch to inform you on our plans in light of the COVID 19 situation and the latest government advice. Firstly, we hope that you, your family, friends and businesses are in good health and withstanding the difficulties we all currently face.

Please rest assured that Smith’s Coffee Company Limited have put in place measures that will minimise the risk to our employees and business whilst ensuring we can continue to operate our production facilities to support our customers during these testing times.

…and you can drop in to buy fresh coffee!!

We are strictly following guidelines and advice provided by the government. In addition, we are taking the following measures:

  • We have increased due diligence regarding hygiene in the workplace
  • Remain at home at the slightest symptoms of illness.
  • Minimize physical meetings and replace with digital when possible.
  • Increased working from home.
  • Minimize our travel.
  • Impose additional restrictions for visitors.

With this in mind, we are taking the precaution of discontinuing all business face to face meetings until further notice.

However, as always, WE ARE ACCEPTING ORDERS and our team are available via telephone, email or Skype (by prior arrangement) during our normal office hours (9am-5pm Monday – Friday).

Our onsite conference facilities, café & barista training centre will however be closed to external personnel from Wednesday 18th March 2020, until further notice.

Please note that we do anticipate some potential impact on the supply chain from our suppliers that may be impacted themselves. If we are aware of any issues with supply, we will do our utmost to stock up on these items wherever possible, however there may be delays on some products.

We do advise that you allow plenty of time for orders to be processed and that you maintain sufficient stock at all times. It is a possible that lead times may be impacted in due course and we therefore appreciate your patience and cooperation in this matter. Please be assured, however, that we have ample stock for our main products and more commonly order sundry items. We have also contacted our larger suppliers who are not currently reporting or anticipating any supply chain issues.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions or concerns, we are committed to supporting you as much as possible through this period of difficulty and uncertainty.

Kind Regards,

Colin & Marina Smith
